Comarch User Group 2025—A Celebration of Partnership

The Comarch User Group 2025, held on May 19 and 20 in Kraków, brought together representatives from 33 telecommunications companies across 20 countries. Over two action-packed days, industry leaders and Comarch experts explored cutting-edge solutions and strategies to address some of the most pressing challenges in the telecommunications sector.

The focus was clear: how can telecom operators build the future of services in an era defined by data, artificial intelligence, and rising customer expectations? Keynote speeches, insightful panels, and case studies provided valuable answers to this pivotal question.

Comarch’s vision for the future of telecommunications

The second day of the event started with presentations from Marcin Kaleta, CEO of the Telecommunication Division at Comarch, and Tymoteusz Wrona, Chief Strategy & Operations Officer. Both leaders painted a clear picture of Comarch's vision for the future, rooted in customer-centric approaches, AI-powered innovation, and modular system transformations.

Marcin Kaleta detailed Comarch Telecommunications’ recent organizational restructuring to streamline operations. By shifting from a product-based structure to a function-oriented one, Comarch aims to boost efficiency, interconnectivity, and its ability to deliver unparalleled customer satisfaction. Key points included the division's global reach, particularly its leadership as the only vendor offering a comprehensive OSS portfolio across Europe.

Meanwhile, Tymoteusz Wrona expanded on Comarch's AI ambitions, including agent-to-agent AI network interactions, intent-based OSS systems, and the development of autonomous networks. He also highlighted new metrics for customer satisfaction, which create a continuous feedback loop to improve Comarch's offerings in real time.

AI in the telecommunications ecosystem

Artificial intelligence, unsurprisingly, dominated the discussions. The role of AI in shaping telecom operations - from network management to customer engagement - is more relevant than ever.

Miguel Morgado, Head of Operations Transformation at Eutelsat Group demonstrated the use of AI-powered unified alarm management to enhance the reliability of LEO and GEO satellite networks. By addressing challenges like weather impacts and antenna failures, Eutelsat showcased AI's potential to improve both network stability and customer experience.

Toni Eid, CEO of Trace Media International and Founder of Telecom Review Group, painted a bold vision for AI’s future, emphasizing its pervasive yet growing presence across industries, with notable adoption in healthcare and telecommunications. His message was clear: the leaders of tomorrow will be defined by their ability to harness AI-driven innovation.

The team at Comarch contributed their own groundbreaking advancements. Piotr Machnik and Paweł Łopata introduced the concept of AI agents, which specialize in analyzing anomalies, predicting issues, and aggregating data from diverse sources such as telecommunications publications and network history. A core takeaway? Decisions around cloud implementation, to share or not share data, and mitigating malicious information will shape the industry's trajectory.

Smart Data Inventory and BSS Transformation

Mohamed Dakalbab Director OSS - Inventory & Controllers at du presented a case study on organizing inventory data for a real-time network inventory system powered by AI. His presentation highlighted the importance of data quality as a critical foundation for leveraging AI effectively.

Bartosz Nowakowski, BSS Product Marketing Manager at Comarch, discussed the evolution of Comarch’s billing solutions. He emphasized that ongoing enhancements to the BSS platform have been instrumental in driving customer satisfaction and enabling digital transformation.

Wrapping up with visionary guidance

A standout feature of the conference was its collaborative nature. Whether through Q&A sessions or informal coffee breaks, the Comarch User Group fostered an open dialogue on how to overcome the rising complexity of networks and business operations. The driving message? Partnership and adaptability are essential for telecom operators to thrive in the years ahead.

Bringing the event to a close, Paweł Workiewicz, Comarch’s Chief Commercial Officer, summarized the conference’s conclusions and key takeaways. His presentation provided a perfect closing note to an inspiring two days, combining practical insights with a humorous touch.

Building the future of telecom together

The 2025 Comarch User Group illuminated a significant turning point for the telecommunications industry. With automation, AI, cloud technology, and real-time data integration at the forefront, the industry stands on the brink of unprecedented transformation.

Comarch’s tailored tools and strategies aim to guide telecom operators through these shifts—from initial vision to implementation. By fostering collaborative networks and focusing on cutting-edge solutions, Comarch remains steadfast in its mission to help operators unlock their full potential.
